Musical Tesla Coil Plasma Speaker with Acrylic Case
The Musical Tesla Coil Plasma Speaker is a fascinating piece of hardware that turns standard audio into a literal lightning display. I spent the week testing this unit to see if the visual spectacle holds up as a genuine audio experience for science-minded families.
Performance & Build Quality
The golden finish on the coil gives it a premium look, while the included acrylic shell provides a necessary layer of protection without obscuring the view. It feels sturdy enough for a desk setting, and the components are well-secured, making it feel more like a durable science instrument than a fragile toy.
Day-to-Day Experience
Setting up the device is straightforward once you connect your audio source, and watching the plasma react to the beat of the music never really gets old. It acts as both a functional speaker and a conversation piece, though it is certainly more about the visual performance than high-fidelity sound quality.
This is perfect for parents of older children interested in electronics or anyone who wants a visually striking, interactive desk accessory.
Final Thoughts
For $99, the Musical Tesla Coil Plasma Speaker provides a unique experience that bridges the gap between art and physics. I give it a solid 4.5 out of 5 for being an engaging and well-constructed device that delivers exactly what it promises.
